Salam Daqqaq is the owner and chef of the acclaimed Dubai restaurants Bait Maryam and Sufret Maryam, both awarded by GreatList Guide. She has established a distinct culinary concept centered on authentic, home-style Levantine cuisine.
A Palestinian-Jordanian chef, Daqqaq’s culinary philosophy is directly inspired by the traditional recipes and cooking methods passed down through her family, particularly from her mother, Maryam. Prior to launching her restaurants, her career spanned journalism and television production, a background that informs her approach to storytelling through food.
