Margarita Vaamonde is the Executive Chef of Soul Kitchen in Dubai, boasting over 20 years of global culinary experience. Her distinguished career includes key collaborations with masters Pierre Gagnaire and Masaharu Morimoto, where she played a pivotal role in launching Morimoto Dubai as Executive Sous Chef.

She refined her skills at the celebrated Elena in Buenos Aires and served as Executive Sous Chef at CATCH LA in West Hollywood. In Dubai, she notably led as Head Chef of MasterChef, the TV Experience.

At Soul Kitchen, she pioneers LeLa Cuisine, a signature fusion of Lebanese and Latin American flavors. Since its 2023 opening, the restaurant has been recognized in Condé Nast Traveler’s Top 40 Best New Restaurants in the World and won the FACT award for Best Fusion. A Chef of the Year nominee by Zenith Magazine, Vaamonde integrates her art school background in ceramics and illustration into her culinary storytelling.
