Restaurant Sufret Maryam
This second venture from the region’s acclaimed entrepreneur and chef, Palestinian Salam Daqqaq—holder of many local and international culinary accolades for her restaurant Bait Maryam—is called Sufret.
Meaning “dinner table” in Arabic, Sufret debuted in late 2024 and celebrates Middle Eastern hospitality alongside the deep, traditional tastes of Levantine cooking. Designed like a warm, inviting private home, the space includes a wood-fired oven and a large central table in its living area.
Menu highlights inventive creations like a reimagined version of the Palestinian street food mousakhan, made here as rolls; halfa rolls stuffed with potato and accompanied by raita sauce; and shish barak dumplings in a mint and garlic yogurt sauce.
