Reif Othman
Hotaru Holdings
Reif Othman is a Singapore-born chef and restaurateur based in Dubai, known for his self-funded portfolio of Japanese and Far Eastern-inspired restaurants.
His career includes senior roles as Regional Executive Chef for Zuma and Culinary Director at Play Restaurant & Lounge. He is the owner of Hotaru Holdings, operating concepts like REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, Kushi by Reif, KONA Pizza House, and SIO Ramen House.
In 2025, he expanded internationally with a pop-up at Conrad Singapore and a collaboration at Cairo Food Week. A third REIF Japanese Kushiyaki is set to open in January 2026.
His focus is on modern interpretations of Japanese street food and grill cuisine, contributing significantly to Dubai’s independent dining scene.
