Restaurant Manāo

A meticulously creative endeavor inspired by modern Thai cuisine, spearheaded by Chef Abhiraj Hatwani and his mentor and business partner, Mohammad Orfali (of Orfali Bros fame). For Hatwani—a thirty-year-old Jeddah native raised in Dubai, whose culinary path led through Europe and Thailand—this marks his first truly significant solo venture, resonating not only regionally but on an international stage.

The concept is elegantly straightforward: at Manāo (derived from the Thai word for "lime"), guests are served an 11-course tasting journey. It spans from Gillardeau oysters with nam jim sauce to Alaskan crab curry and duck rice dumplings. In every dish, lime and subtle heat play a defining role, and each creation comes with a concise yet evocative story, much like the experience at Orfali.
